Fire

Surfing has brought to my life a myriad of gifts, but one of the most breathtaking and incredible is being immersed in the true magnificence of sunrises and sunsets!  It quite literally feels like I am plunged into living art! And nature provides this as a daily offering! When that first light glows orange, yellow, and red on the horizon, everyone stops!  It truly feels hard to take in! The colour then spreads into the sky and is reflected off the water and off the wet, rocky surfaces, and there we are, tiny dots in this magic!

 

The sunsets are equally as brilliant, but oftentimes with a change of palette. Sometimes the oranges and reds stick around, but at other times, they are replaced with pastel blues, pinks, mauves and yellows! We are soooo lucky! What a way to start and end the day!!!
