Water

I was born in Melbourne and was lucky enough to live on the beachfront in St Kilda from 1-16 years of age. My parents owned a seafood restaurant there called the ‘Beachcombers’, so I guess the ocean has always felt like home.

 

Now, 43 years later, I am blessed, yet again, to be living back on the beachfront in Palm Beach on the Gold Coast, where I live on the 9th floor with a spectacular view of the ocean. From moment to moment, the constantly changing colours, textures and tones are captivating!

 

Sometimes I see a colour that I’ve never seen before and try to mix it. Sometimes I succeed and sometimes I don’t! But it’s fun trying!
